The Society had on 22.06.2009 filed cases in the District Labour Court, Jamshedpur on behalf of 20 NREGS labourers from Rasik Nagar village under Section 15(2) of the Payment of wages Act 1936. Upon intervention from the Court, the labourers were paid unemployment allowance aggregating to Rs. 1, 30, 200/-.

The  Society  has  also  helped  more  than 100 labourers  file  complaint  petitions  before the Lok  Adalat   (Camp: Patamda)   relating to non-payment   of   wages.
