ABOUT US
A few years back, a group of dedicated people got together to give back something to the society what they had received in their lifetime. Initially, they realized that education for the needy was the most important tool to empower an individual. As they were thinking on these lines, new ideas began to emerge and a host of things were planned simultaneously.
However, since “Education” was the foundation of the thought process they all agreed to build on this area. These individuals were driven by passion to help the needy and to see something meaningful bloom from the seeds they had sown. Based on this the "Jan Chetna Manch Patamda” was born. The society was duly registered with the IG, Registration, Jharkhand (India) on 19th July 2007 (Registration No. 538 / 2007-08) under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860.
The joint vision for this society was primarily:
- To promote “Education” and establish institutions for the promotion of this. The term “Education” would comprise literature, science, sports and fine arts
- Promote environmental awareness and undertake and promote social forestry
- Secure economic and social upliftment for the marginalized sections of the society
- Strive to arrange for proper upkeep and upbringing of indigent and uncared for children and ensure their rehabilitation
- Manage and administer any orphanage and hospital
- Help rural people avail the benefits of the Government Sponsored Schemes
- Strive to create awareness among public about their Right to Information under the RTI Act. 2005.
